Adafruit Monochrome 1.12" 128x128 OLED Graphic Display - STEMMA QT / Qwiic

This OLED is perfect for those who want more pixels in a smaller size with a high-contrast monochrome 128x128 pixel display. The petite 1.12" diagonal display requires no backlight and offers crisp readability thanks to its white OLED pixels that each can be turned on or off by the controller chip.

The display uses the SSD1107 driver chip supporting both I2C and SPI communication protocols. It requires 3.3V and 12V power supplies and 3.3V logic levels. A 3.3V regulator and 12V boost converter are included, and pins are level shifted for compatibility with 3V or 5V devices.

Featuring SparkFun Qwiic compatible STEMMA QT connectors for I2C, no soldering is needed—simply plug and play with any Qwiic or STEMMA QT compatible board (STEMMA QT cable not included).

This 128x128 pixel display requires at least 2KB SRAM for buffering and is compatible with microcontrollers that have 16KB+ RAM (e.g., SAMD21, SAMD51, ESP, nRF52, Teensy). Although SPI offers faster speed, I2C allows for fewer pins.

Adafruit provides Arduino and CircuitPython libraries supporting the SH1107 chipset.

Important note: OLED pixels are organic LEDs which may dim after being lit continuously for over 1000 hours. To maintain brightness consistency, turn off the display when not in use.
