Description

The Adafruit NeoKey 1x4 QT I2C Breakout offers four mechanical key switches that can glow in any color of the rainbow, perfect for custom macropads and projects requiring multiple mechanical keys.

This compact 3" x 0.8" PCB fits four Cherry MX or compatible switches on Kailh sockets, allowing easy installation without soldering the switches directly (hot glue or epoxy recommended for stability). Each key comes with a reverse-mount NeoPixel LED for vibrant lighting effects.

The board connects via a STEMMA QT (Qwiic) connector for instant I2C integration with microcontrollers. It is pre-programmed with seesaw firmware for seamless NeoPixel and button press control over I2C. Multiple boards can be chained on a single I2C bus, supporting up to 16 units.

Note: Each order includes one assembled and programmed PCB only; switches, keycaps, and microcontroller are not included. Suitable for use with any MX-compatible switch such as Kailh, Gateron, etc.
