Description
The Adafruit NeoKey Trinkey is a unique device combining a mechanical key switch compatible with Cherry MX, a NeoPixel RGB LED, and a compact USB development board powered by the ATSAMD21E18 32-bit Cortex M0+ processor.
This tiny, durable board plugs directly into any USB A port on a computer or laptop, featuring a native USB interface supporting Arduino or CircuitPython programming. The NeoKey Trinkey includes a single reverse-mount RGB NeoPixel LED that allows full-color customization, and a capacitive touch pad for additional input options.
The device is perfect for creating custom macros, password entry keys, or as an Escape key replacement, and supports serial, MIDI, or HID connectivity over USB. It comes with a reset button to enter bootloader mode or restart the device.
Note: This board does not come with a pre-soldered mechanical key switch or keycap. It requires the user to purchase and solder their Cherry MX-compatible mechanical key switch.
