Adafruit NeoTrellis M4 Mainboard featuring SAMD51

The Adafruit NeoTrellis M4 is an all-in-one USB, NeoPixel, Elastomer, and Audio development board powered by the SAMD51 Cortex M4 core running at 120 MHz. This feature-packed board includes 512KB flash and 192KB SRAM, along with an additional 8MB SPI flash chip for ample file and audio clip storage. Perfect for CircuitPython and Arduino projects, it offers hardware DSP, floating point support, and dual 12-bit DACs for audio output.

The board features a 4x8 grid of fully diode-protected elastomer button pads, each with a NeoPixel in the center for vibrant 24-bit color lighting. Buttons are translucent and glow beautifully when lit. The native USB port supports USB MIDI device functionality.

Audio capabilities include stereo DAC outputs on a headphone jack and an electret microphone amplifier suitable for mobile phone headsets. The 4th pin on the headphone jack serves as microphone or line input.

An Analog Devices ADXL343 triple-axis accelerometer provides tilt, motion, and tap sensing for added interactivity. Additionally, a 4-pin JST STEMMA/Grove compatible hacking port offers power, ground, and two GPIO pins configurable as I2C, ADC, or UART for sensor expansion or other uses.
