Description
The Adafruit PCF8523 Real Time Clock (RTC) Breakout Board is a battery-backed RTC that keeps track of time even during power loss or reprogramming, perfect for data-logging, clock-building, time stamping, timers, and alarms.
Equipped with the PCF8523 RTC chip, the board supports both 3.3V and 5V power and logic. It includes STEMMA QT connectors for easy plug-and-play with compatible microcontrollers without the need for soldering.

Note: A CR1220 coin cell battery is required but not included. We recommend purchasing one separately.
