Description
The Adafruit QSPI DIP Breakout Board features the W25Q16JVSSIQ, a 16-Megabit (2 Mega-byte) quad SPI flash memory chip. Designed for modern microcontrollers like the RP2040, ESP32, RT10xx, and STM32 series, this breakout board offers an easy way to add external QSPI Flash memory to your projects.
This board converts the wide 8-SOIC package into a 0.3" wide DIP format, making prototyping and design convenient for development and testing purposes. The W25Q16JVSSIQ chip operates at 3.3V power and logic and includes a Quad Enable bit permanently set, enabling seamless use in QSPI mode. The breakout comes with a bit of header for easy breadboard or socket connection.
