Description
The Adafruit RP2040 Feather ThinkInk combines the power of the RP2040 microcontroller with easy connectivity to almost any common e-Ink/e-Paper display featuring a 24-pin FPC connector. Perfect for projects that require a low-power, daylight-readable display similar to those found on e-readers such as Kindle or Nook. The Feather includes support circuitry and level shifting for 24-pin ePaper displays up to 5.6" 7-color ACeP models.
This board features a dedicated SPI port for the ePaper display and a second SPI port for other peripherals, maximizing flexibility. The RP2040 chip with 264 KB internal SRAM allows buffering of entire display images and room for your program code. It supports Arduino and CircuitPython development environments.
Additional features include a USB Type-C connector, built-in 200mA+ LiPo battery charger with status LED, STEMMA QT connector for plug-and-play I2C devices, RGB NeoPixel, reset and bootloader buttons, and 21 GPIO pins with ADC, SPI, I2C, UART, and PWM functionality. The Feather form factor makes it portable and stackable with other FeatherWing accessories.
Important: EInk display and extension cable are not included. Compatible with 1.54" to 7" diagonal 24-pin ePaper displays designed for smart labels. Not compatible with larger e-Reader displays like Kindle.
