Description

FRAM (Ferroelectric RAM) is a cutting-edge data storage technology that combines the benefits of DRAM speed with non-volatility, allowing for stable data retention without power. This Adafruit SPI Non-Volatile FRAM Breakout features 2 Megabits (256 KBytes) of FRAM storage.

This breakout board interfaces via SPI and supports up to 40 MHz clock speeds. Each byte can be read and written rapidly, with endurance up to 10 trillion (10,000,000,000,000) write cycles and data retention spanning decades.

The board includes 3.3V logic level shifting and regulator, making it compatible with both 3V and 5V systems. Its breadboard-friendly layout includes standard 0.1" headers for easy integration into your projects.
