Adafruit STEMMA Reflective Photo Interrupt Sensor - TCRT1000

The Adafruit STEMMA Reflective Photo Interrupt Sensor - TCRT1000 is a ready-to-use optical reflective sensor that includes an infrared LED and phototransistor. It detects when an object reflects IR light back to the sensor, making it ideal for detecting presence or reflective surfaces without any soldering or breadboarding required.

This sensor operates on 3 to 5V DC and outputs a signal that goes low when IR light is reflected. It features an onboard potentiometer to adjust IR LED brightness from 1mA to 100mA. A green power LED and red sensor activation LED provide visual feedback, both of which can be disabled.

The sensor includes a JST PH 2mm pitch connector for easy plug-and-play use with compatible cables. This makes it perfect for quick integration into projects without custom wiring.
