Description
The Adafruit Thumbstick Trinkey is a tiny USB mouse featuring a mini analog thumbstick similar to those found on gaming devices like the PSP Vita. It plugs into any computer's USB A port and acts as an HID input device, offering precise X-Y analog control.
This board comes pre-programmed with an Arduino sketch so it's ready to use right out of the box. It includes two tactile switches functioning as mouse buttons 1 and 2, a dual DIP switch for rotation adjustment, and an RGB NeoPixel for colorful under-lighting.
Designed on Trinkey technology (ATSAM21E18), the Thumbstick Trinkey is perfect for compact pointer applications without needing a full-sized mouse. The firmware is open source, compatible with Arduino and CircuitPython, allowing you to customize the device for uses like MIDI pitch-bend, media controls, or serial data output.
