Adafruit TLV493D Triple-Axis Magnetometer - STEMMA QT / Qwiic

The TLV493D 3-axis magnetometer is a compact sensor designed to detect magnets in three dimensions. Ideal for applications like joystick creation or detecting objects with attached magnets, this sensor provides precise magnetic field measurements.

• 12-bit data resolution for each measurement direction
• Bx, By, and Bz linear field measurement up to +130 mT
• Excellent matching of X/Y measurements for accurate angle sensing

The sensor is not sensitive enough to detect the Earth's magnetic field, so it is not suitable as a compass. However, it excels at tracking nearby magnetic fields in three dimensions for innovative projects.

The breakout board measures 25.4mm x 17.8mm x 4.6mm and weighs 1.8g.
