Adafruit Touch Screen Breakout Board (0.5mm FPC)

The Adafruit Touch Screen Breakout Board features a fine pitch (0.5mm) connector soldered onto the breakout, allowing easy connection to resistive touch screens. It breaks out the 4 resistive wires of the panel, making it simple to interface with your display.

This petite board measures 0.5" x 0.5" (12.5mm x 12.5mm) and includes two mounting holes for strain relief.

Check out the Adafruit Arduino library for example code that reads touch position, pressure, and performs debounce handling. The library is easy to port to other microcontrollers.
