Adafruit TPL5111 Low Power Timer Breakout

The Adafruit TPL5111 Low Power Reset Timer is a standalone breakout board designed to reduce power consumption by enabling and disabling your electronics using a built-in timer adjustable from once every 100 milliseconds up to once every two hours.

This timer sets an enable pin high periodically to power your project, then waits for a 'done' signal from your project to safely disable power. If the signal is not received within the timeout, it resets the device like a watchdog timer.

Features include:

• Adjustable timer delay via onboard potentiometer or resistor.
• Low current draw around 20uA when the main device is powered down.
• Manual activation via onboard tactile switch or external wiring to the delay pin.
• Compatible with 3-5V power supplies.
• Comes fully assembled with header pins included; some light soldering required for breadboard use.

The TPL5111 is ideal when you have an enable pin to control your project's power. For projects where the power line can be 'broken', consider the TPL5110 breakout instead.
