Description
Sense the magnetic fields that surround us with this handy triple-axis magnetometer (compass) module based on ST's LIS3MDL sensor. This compact sensor uses I2C to communicate and is easy to use. It can detect magnetic field ranges from ±4 gauss up to ±16 gauss, with update rates from 0.625 to 1000 Hz. With STEMMA QT connectors, it supports a solderless connection to compatible devices.
Perfect for use with a 6-DoF accelerometer/gyroscope like the Adafruit LSM6DSOX to create a 9-DoF inertial measurement unit to accurately detect orientation in real space.
