Description

The Adafruit TSMP96000 Code Learning Infrared IR Receiver Breakout is designed for detecting and decoding infrared signals across a wide carrier frequency range from 20 to 60KHz. This makes it ideal for 'code learning' applications where you want your device to work with any IR remote control, regardless of the remote's carrier frequency.

Power the board with 3~5V DC and point an IR remote at the sensor. The modulated IR signal with the carrier is output through the signal pin for analysis by your microcontroller. The board features a green 'power good' LED and a red 'signal' LED which blinks when receiving IR signals.

This breakout is excellent for advanced IR remote receiving projects requiring carrier signal detection, but is not suitable for firmware expecting demodulated output. The board comes with mounting holes and a STEMMA JST PH 2mm connector for easy connection without soldering.

  • Detects IR carrier signals from 20KHz to 60KHz
  • Supports code learning IR remote decoding
  • Power LED indicator and signal LED indicator
  • Compact size with mounting holes: 25.4mm x 17.7mm x 7.1mm
  • Lightweight at 2.1 grams
  • STEMMA JST PH 2mm connector for easy wiring

Note: A STEMMA JST PH 2mm 3-pin cable is required but not included.
