Adafruit USB Host BFF for QT Py or Xiao with MAX3421E

The Adafruit USB Host BFF is the perfect companion for your QT Py or Xiao microcontroller, adding a USB Host port for connecting standard USB devices such as keyboards, mice, and disk drives. Powered by the reliable MAX3421E USB Host controller chip, this compact board enables your microcontroller project to interface with a wide range of USB peripherals using SPI and an IRQ pin.

This board is especially useful for microcontrollers supported by TinyUSB, including RP2040, ESP32-S2 or S3, nRF52840, and SAMD21/51 chips. It uses a micro-B USB OTG connector, so a USB OTG adapter is needed to connect standard USB Type A devices. The board features a P-FET switch for controlling 5V host power, allowing you to power-cycle peripherals as needed.

Note: QT Py or Xiao microcontroller is not included. This product requires software driver support for the MAX3421E.
