Description
The ADXL343 from Analog Devices is a high-quality triple-axis accelerometer breakout board featuring a ±2g/4g/8g/16g selectable dynamic range and both I2C and SPI digital interfaces. It is a near drop-in replacement for the popular ADXL345 with similar specifications and enhanced affordability.
This sensor offers user-selectable output resolutions from 10 to 13 bits, providing precise acceleration measurements on X, Y, and Z axes. It supports various motion detection features including tap, double-tap, activity, inactivity, and free-fall detection with two independent interrupt pins.
The breakout board includes an onboard 3.3V regulator and logic-level shifting for easy use with 3V and 5V microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Featuring plug-and-play STEMMA QT connectors, it allows effortless wiring without soldering using compatible JST SH cables.
