Arcade Button with LED - 30mm Translucent Red

A button is a button, and a switch is a switch, but these translucent arcade buttons are in a class of their own. They feature LEDs built right in, allowing you to enjoy button-mashing amidst a wash of beautiful light.

The buttons are the same size as common miniature arcade controls, requiring a ~30mm diameter hole for mounting. They screw in place for secure installation on up to ~20mm thick material, covering imperfect holes. The button action is smooth without a strong click but still provides tactile feedback with a pre-installed microswitch featuring gold-plated contacts.

Each button contains two surface mount LEDs with resistors built in, connected in series with a 200 ohm resistor. This allows powering directly from a 5V source with about 5mA draw. Note that the red and yellow LED buttons require 5V or higher and cannot run at 3.3V.

The translucent red button has a crystal glossy look and is ideal for arcade-style projects. Compatible with 0.11" Quick-Connect Wire Pairs for easy wiring.
