Description
The Arduino Zero is a powerful 32-bit extension of the Arduino UNO platform, designed for creative individuals to develop imaginative IoT devices, wearable technologies, advanced automation, robotics, and more. It is powered by Atmel’s SAMD21 MCU, featuring a 32-bit ARM Cortex® M0+ core, providing increased performance and flexibility for a wide range of projects.
This board includes Atmel’s Embedded Debugger (EDBG) which offers a full debug interface without additional hardware, simplifying the debugging process. The onboard EDBG also supports a virtual COM port for device programming and maintains traditional Arduino bootloader functionality.
Note: This board is now discontinued. Adafruit suggests the Adafruit METRO M0 Express (Product ID 3505) as an alternative.
