Description
These large CNC rotary encoders feature a 60mm black hand-sized knob with 100 pulses per rotation, ideal for precise manual control of CNC machines or as a tactile interface for any 360-degree rotary selection application.
Unlike typical PCB-mount rotary encoders, these units have screw terminal blocks for easy wiring. Connect VCC (pullup/positive voltage), ground, and read signals A and B to detect direction and motion pulses.
Key features and usage:
- Large 60mm black knob with 100 discrete steps per rotation for accurate control.
- Screw terminal connections for easy integration into projects.
- Continuous rotation with tactile 'clicks' on every segment.
- Compatible with standard rotary encoder tutorials and microcontrollers.
- Perfect for CNC machine manual inputs or any application needing smooth 360° rotation sensing.
Note: Rotary encoders provide relative position, not absolute. Use microcontrollers to count steps. For fixed position sensing, consider potentiometers instead.
