Description
The Cytron Maker Pi RP2040 is a versatile robot controller board powered by the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller. Designed for robotics, buggy, and movement-based projects, it features a dual-channel DC motor driver, 4 servo connectors, and 7 Grove I/O connectors, providing flexible control options.
This board supports control of 2 DC motors or 1 bipolar/unipolar stepper motor, with continuous current of 1A per channel at 3.6V to 6V. It includes built-in quick test buttons, motor output status LEDs, and various visual indicators including 13 GPIO LEDs, 2 RGB Neopixels, a piezo buzzer with mute switch, and push buttons to facilitate easy interaction and troubleshooting.
Power can be supplied via USB 5V, single-cell LiPo/Li-ion battery, or VIN (3.6-6V) terminals with an onboard charger and an on/off switch. The board is compatible with the Raspberry Pi Pico ecosystem and comes preloaded with CircuitPython, making it simple to program and use immediately out of the box.
