Description
Run four solenoids, two DC motors, or one bi-polar or uni-polar stepper with up to 600mA per channel using the L293D motor driver chip. This powerful chip contains two full H-bridges (four half H-bridges) allowing bidirectional control of motors and solenoids.
Ideal for replacing damaged drivers in motor shields or creating your own custom motor driver circuits on a breadboard.
- Up to 600mA continuous current per channel (1.2A peak)
- Internally built-in kick-back diodes to protect against inductive loads
- PWM input per driver for speed control
- Runs at 5V logic with motor voltages from 4.5V up to 36V
- Not suitable for 3V motors
This chip is widely used in various motor control projects including Arduino and Raspberry Pi applications.
