Description
Yes, this is a 7" TFT display with 1024x600 resolution with audio-over-HDMI capability! We include a driver board with HDMI, VGA and Composite inputs, plus stereo 4 ohm at 3W output speaker driving capability. The visible display measures 7" diagonal and is a 'raw TTL' display.
Setup is easy - connect a 9-12VDC power adapter (not included) to the 2.1mm center-positive DC jack, connect a digital video source to one of the ports, and solder your own speakers to the SPK output pins (LOUT+/- and ROUT+/-). The display includes a small PCB with buttons to adjust brightness, color, and contrast, and auto-detects the video input.
The display works with any HDMI, VGA, or NTSC/PAL output device (not compatible with DVI without converter or SECAM). Suggested config.txt modification is provided for Raspberry Pi users for native 1024x600 resolution support.
