Description
It's a mini panel-mountable HDMI monitor designed to work with any computer that has HDMI output. This compact 5" display features an 800x480 resolution screen and includes a TFP401 video decoder for plug-and-play functionality.
The TFP401 decoder from Texas Instruments decodes unencrypted HDMI/DVI video signals into raw 24-bit color pixel data (does not support HDCP). The display draws approximately 500mA current at full brightness which can be reduced by adjusting the backlight.
This version does not include touchscreen capabilities; for touch, please see the +touch version (coming soon!). It is ideal for use with single board computers such as Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black.
