IDC Breakout Helper - 2x5 (10 pin)

This little 2x5 (10 pin - 0.1 spaced) IDC Breadboard Helper is ideal for use with any of Adafruit's 10-pin IDC cables. It includes two parts: a 'pin-through' socket that straddles the center of a breadboard or Perma-Proto, and a male header that plugs into the top of the socket.

IDC cables are standard but difficult to use with breadboards; this breakout helper provides a practical and affordable solution for prototyping. It works best when soldered in place. Some customers report difficulty with solderless breadboards due to shorter pins, so results may vary.

Each order includes one socket and one header. Breadboard, Perma Proto, and IDC cable are not included.
