Description
Add oodles of extra analog-friendly input and output pins to your Raspberry Pi or Raspberry Pi Pico project with the IO Expander Breakout. This breakout uses the Nuvoton MS51 microcontroller and I2C interface to provide 14 additional input/output pins.
- 8 pins are connected to a 12-bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) for analog sensor input.
- 6 pins can be used as up to 16-bit PWM outputs, perfect for controlling servos or non-addressable LEDs.
- Compatible with Raspberry Pi models and Raspberry Pi Pico with dedicated Python and C++/MicroPython libraries.
- I2C interface with a default address of 0x18, modifiable in software.
- 3.3V or 5V compatible with reverse polarity protection on the input side.
- Includes 1x5 straight male header and 1x5 right angle female header for easy installation.
This versatile breakout integrates easily with Pimoroni's Breakout Garden and comes with extensive documentation and software support, including Arduino ported libraries.
