Description
The ACCESS:bit is a bolt-on/clip-on accessory board designed for the BBC micro:bit that simulates an access barrier. It features an integrated battery cage powered by 3xAAA batteries, an on/off switch, and a buzzer for sound effects.
This kit includes a single 180-degree servo, a barrier, and all required fixings. The micro:bit can be attached via countersunk screws or crocodile clips, and its LED matrix remains fully visible to display signals or serve as a sensor.
The ACCESS:bit is compatible with micro:bit V1 and V2 and complements other Kitronik transportation/pedestrian crossing accessories like the STOP:bit and LAMP:bit. Custom MakeCode editor blocks are available to simplify programming.
