Description
The Kitronik Audio Cable for BBC micro:bit is the perfect cable choice for outputting music or general sound from your BBC micro:bit to headphones or speakers.
One end of the cable has black and red crocodile clips that connect directly to the micro:bit's GND and Pin 0, respectively. On the other end, there is a 3.5mm TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) stereo jack, enabling you to connect headphones directly or use an amplifier to drive speakers.
Note:
- The BBC micro:bit can supply enough current to drive headphones, but an amplifier is required for speakers. The Kitronik MP3 mono amplifier kit is recommended for this purpose.
- This cable is designed for stereo leads and does not work with true mono leads.
