Bring your amplifier case design projects up to date with the Kitronik Bluetooth Amplifier Kit and play music wirelessly from a phone, tablet, or computer. This kit is available in three formats: PCB & parts only, with 4ohm 65mm speakers, or with 8ohm 100mm speakers. For the speaker options, the speakers are supplied unconnected allowing customization of cable length and routing to fit specific enclosure designs.

The amplifier features a 3W Class-D audio amplifier delivering excellent audio quality without needing a heat sink, making it lightweight and convenient for enclosure design. It uses a simple on/off switch interface. On power-up, the Bluetooth module automatically attempts to reconnect to the last paired device or enters pairing mode if not available, enhancing user experience.

Power options include a 1A USB supply or a LiPo battery (with JST connector), both available separately. The board includes an integrated LiPo charging circuit compatible with batteries ranging from 400mAh to 1000mAh, allowing for portable, mains-free operation with automatic switching between power sources. A 1000mAh LiPo battery can provide up to 28 hours of continuous operation at normal volume.

Status is indicated via onboard LED and sounds, with an optional connection for an off-board LED. Note that the speakers and power switch are supplied unconnected, so some soldering is required. Speaker wire is included in all options.
