Description

The Kitronik Compact 16 Servo Driver Board for the BBC micro:bit is designed to drive up to 16 servo motors simultaneously, based on the PCA9685 driver IC. It features a fitted Edge Connector that allows the BBC micro:bit to slot in directly, making it an ideal accessory for robotics and motor control projects.

This board powers servos directly from its power supply and supports power input via either a terminal block or a servo style connector, controlled conveniently by an on/off switch and indicated by a green LED. Additionally, it supplies a regulated 3.3V for the micro:bit itself, eliminating the need for separate power supply to the micro:bit.

Designed for easy integration, it is compatible with the 'Link' standard allowing connections to other micro:bit accessory boards. You can program this board either with Microsoft MakeCode using custom Kitronik I2C-16-servo blocks or with Python.
