Description
Get creative by combining the BBC micro:bit and electrical components with Kitronik Craft & Code! Designed by teachers and tested by pupils for learners aged 8+. This fun and engaging kit enables students to learn coding as part of craft-based projects using any BBC micro:bit version.
The kit includes a Craft and Code board, a servo, a motor, crocodile leads, bulb holder, bulb, and a Finnboard wheel—everything needed except craft materials and the micro:bit itself. It requires 3x AA batteries (not included) and features an onboard on/off switch to protect battery life.
Learn coding with MakeCode for micro:bit, using a custom Kitronik extension that provides all the blocks needed to control the board and connected hardware. The included booklet contains two detailed projects: a tabletop carousel and a touch-operated night light, with full coding instructions.
