Description
The Kitronik Mini Controller for Raspberry Pi Pico is a versatile, programmable controller designed to enhance the Raspberry Pi Pico experience.
Features include a buzzer for audio feedback, 6 input buttons arranged in a gamepad layout (4 directional and 2 action buttons), and breakout pins including GP1, GP2, GP3, GP4, GP14, GP17, ADC1, and ADC2. The board also provides several 3.3V and ground pads, all on a 0.1"/2.54mm pitch.
This controller is ideal as a remote control for the Kitronik Autonomous Robotics Platform (Buggy) for Pico and is suitable for any Pico project or game requiring user input/control. It omits a screen to maintain a compact size and cost efficiency, making it perfect for Robotics where a display is not necessary.
The controller is powered via an integrated battery holder supporting 3 x AA batteries. To use, the Raspberry Pi Pico needs to be fitted with header pins and inserted firmly into the controller.
Kitronik provides a MicroPython module and sample code, available on their GitHub repository, simplifying integration.
