Description

Learn how to harness the energy of the sun with the Kitronik Solar Power Starter Kit. This easy-to-assemble kit enables building a simple solar charging and power supply system for low-power devices, ideal for Electronics and Design & Technology projects.

The kit includes a 5.0V 130mA polycrystalline solar cell, a BAT41 signal diode to prevent battery discharge through the solar cell, an SPST toggle switch, a 5V LED desk lamp kit, a 3x AA battery holder with flying leads, three rechargeable AA batteries (1300mAh), and connecting wires.

Once assembled, place the solar panel in direct sunlight to charge the batteries. The included switch allows power control to enhance recharging efficiency. When fully charged, the batteries can power the LED desk lamp for up to 17 hours.
