LED Illuminated Pushbutton - 30mm Square

This LED illuminated arcade pushbutton is designed to fit in standard 30mm drilled holes, featuring a built-in LED that can be controlled independently from the switch action for indication or aesthetic purposes.

The pushbutton has a black plastic body and includes a lamp holder originally designed for incandescent lamps but easily adaptable for LED usage by wrapping the LED legs around the holder. It comes with a clear white LED, with the suggestion to replace it with a diffused LED of your preferred color for better backlighting effects. Additionally, the pushbutton can be disassembled to place an image under the clear cover for custom backlighting.

Equipped with a normally-open micro-switch, the switch is clicky and gives tactile feedback when actuated. The micro-switch can be snapped in or removed easily for LED changes.

Technical Details:

• LED forward voltage: ~3.5V (white LED included)
• Requires series resistor (recommend starting with 1 kOhm)
• Comes with clear white LED instead of previous blue LED (since February 3rd, 2021)
