Description
Bring your Raspberry Pi Pico or Pico-pin-compatible boards into the standard Raspberry Pi (Zero) form factor with this funky adapter board from Pi Hut. This HAT-compatible GPIO mapper takes your classic RP2-based Pico style dev boards and shimmies them around into the 2x20 connector featured on Raspberry Pi computers.
This enables you to plug the hundreds of available bonnets, HATs, pHats, etc into your favorite microcontroller boards! Develop faster by combining the speed and lightweight nature of the Pico with the Raspberry Pi HAT ecosystem.
Key Features:
- HAT-compatible GPIO mapper for Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico-pin-compatible boards
- Standard 2x20 connector for Raspberry Pi computers including Raspberry Pi Zero
- Color-coded 40-pin header making development easier
- 8 GPIO pins exposed underneath plus 5V, 3.3V, and 2x GND pins
- Enables use of various Raspberry Pi HATs, bonnets, and pHats
Important Notes:
- Raspberry Pi Pico not included
- No pullups on SDA/SCL lines; some HATs that expect 1.8k resistors on a Pi may need external resistors
- Mechanical connection does not guarantee firmware support for HATs/bonnets
- Check the pinout diagram to see how pins are mapped
