Add smart light and sound effects to models and dioramas with the Pimoroni Tiny FX W, a compact but powerful RP2040-powered programmable controller board with wireless connectivity.
This effects controller is designed for LED dots and strips compatible with LEGO® lighting kits. The Tiny FX W allows for adjustable brightness, dynamic lighting effects simulating movement, on/off triggering based on sensors or internet data, pulsing for ambiance, flickering for fire effects, and synchronized sound effects using the onboard amplifier.

The Starter Kit includes all necessary components for your first project: Tiny FX W controller, adhesive-backed mini speaker, multiple LED dots and RGB LEDs, AAA battery holder (batteries not included), USB-A to USB-C cable, PIR motion sensor stick with connecting cable, all in a reusable Pirate-brand Loot Box.
Note: LEDs and other components are sold separately beyond the included kit items. This board is not designed to drive addressable LEDs/NeoPixels; the Plasma 2040 board is recommended for that use.
