Round Panel Mount Micro SD Card Extender

The adapter is about 30mm in diameter, allowing you to drill a hole in your wood, plastic, or metal with a common hole-saw or bit, without the need for special shapes or filing. Simply unscrew the plastic nut, insert the plug, and re-attach it. Now you have a microSD extension cable!

It's designed to attach easily to a panel up to 16mm thick (0.625"), or as thin as a few millimeters, making it perfect for adding extra storage to your project enclosure. The plug features a solid body with a forgiving plastic lip that conceals the drill hole.

Please note: This extender works well with microSD card readers, but many devices use mechanical detection to recognize when a card is removed. Since this extender remains plugged in, host devices may not detect card swaps unless the operating system supports manual rescanning or the device is rebooted.
