Description
Slip slidin' away with this slide potentiometer, perfect for breadboarding and prototyping. Unlike traditional twisty potentiometers, this 45mm long slide pot features a 10K ohm linear resistance and a plastic knob for easy adjustment. It offers a satisfying sliding feel with a center indentation that helps you visually gauge when the potentiometer is in the middle.
Most famously used on mixers and the transporter control panel on Star Trek, this slide pot is compact, measuring 45mm in length, 9.5mm width, and 26mm height, with a shank length of 10mm and width of 5mm. The knob (nubbin) measures 10.3 x 11.7 x 6.8mm. It can be soldered to its three legs or pushed into a solderless breadboard or perfboard with large holes.
